Mayor Bloomberg Welcomes Zaarly to NYC

Yep, you heard right. Zaarly has officially landed in New York City! Yesterday, we announced that we have a team working in Chelsea, and are honored that Mayor Bloomberg has extended an official welcome:

“New York City didn’t fall as far in as the rest of the country in the recession and built back faster because we’ve diversified our economy, helping technology companies and traditional small businesses grow” said Mayor Bloomberg.

“Tech firms from Facebook to Google to Twitter and now Zaarly are expanding their offices and creating jobs in New York City because the quality of potential employees and customers here is the world’s best. Zaarly, which connects small businesses and other entrepreneurs with potential customers, is a great addition to our exploding tech sector and I want to wish them and CEO Bo Fishback a warm welcome.”

All of us at Zaarly are truly grateful to be a part of the flourishing NYC startup community, and we’re excited to continue to grow with it.

We’re building our NYC community by connecting with small businesses.

We’re already working with over 1,250 New York-based small businesses and entrepreneurs in a variety of categories, including fitness instructors, photographers, pet services, childcare, teachers, home improvement, writers, graphic designers, event planners, catering companies, tech professionals, administrative support and more.

It is our goal to connect all of these wonderful businesses and freelancers with potential customers in their neighborhoods.

It’s critical for Zaarly to establish a presence in the heart of New York City’s small business community.  With small businesses facing enormous challenges in the current economy, Zaarly offers an easy and fast way to generate new leads and grow their existing business.

Through Zaarly, these small businesses and entrepreneurs can now directly connect with New Yorkers who are actively looking to buy their products, services and experiences. Using Zaarly mobile apps or website, buyers post what they want, when they need it, and what they’re willing to pay. Then, our small business tools notify sellers who can then respond with an offer.

It allows each business to create an extremely personal and positive experience for potential customers all around them.  It’s the type of interaction that builds customer loyalty for the future.

If you’re a small business or freelancer interested in using Zaarly to get leads, go here get started: zaarly.com/business

As always, if you have any thoughts or questions, email me at Boceo at Zaarly dot com.
